The aim of this research was to describe the meaning of the ambiguity in the newspaper inilah
Bogor and the implications form ambiguity in the meaning of the newspaper inilah Bogor on
language learning in high school. Ambiguity of data obtained in this study were taken from
newspaper articles Bogor This is the issue of 3 to 19 November 2016 as many as 10 copies.
There is no limit the number of articles on the copies, but focused on how many ambiguities
found in every article numbers of course vary. Data collection techniques used in this research is
descriptive analysis. Then after it's collected, then get results amounted to as much as 78
findings. Type phonetic ambiguity numbered 1 findings where in precentage of 1.28%. The types
of lexical ambiguity found as many as 31 findings or in percent of 39.75%. Next, the type of
grammatical ambiguity is found as many as 46 with a percentage of 58.97%. Thus, the findings
of most is the kind of grammatical ambiguity that can be said almost in half. While this type of
ambiguity phonetic level is the least discovered. After the discovery in the data analysis and
analyzed in a descriptive explanation, then the next triangulation performed by three people
namely Neneng Supriyati triangulator, S.Pd., Aerwin, S.Pd., and Deden Fahmi Fadillah, S.Pd ..
Third triangulator the agreed 100% on research results even though there are problems
differences in theory but can be found solving and deal.
