Writing Skills On Negotiation Text At Grade X ,Warungkiara 1st Senior High
School, Sukabumi District, Indonesia Pakun Universuty Bogor, 2019.
The aim of this research was to know the use of scramble model of improving
students’ writing of negotiation text and the difficulty which faced by the students
when they were arranging negotiation text by using scramble model at ten grade in
Warungkiara 1st Senior High School, Sukabumi subdistrict. This research used
experiment method and the technique that used was test non test by using observation
and questionnaire. The test was used to know students’ writing skills on negotiation
text, meanwhile the questionnaire was used to know the difficulty which have been
faced by every student when teaching learning process which used scramble model
on negotiation text was running. The sample of this research was the students at garde
X IPA 1 as an experiment class and students grade X IPA 2 as a control class. The
data collection technique was cluster random sampling. The first hyphotheses was the
use of scramble model can improve students’ arranging skill on negotiation text
which the correctness had been proved. It can be proved by the result data of
experiment class which the average grade was 51. It implied that students’ arranging
skill on negotiation text in low level. However, the result data of post test which had
average grade become at the high level. It was 88. The comparison mean of
experiment class and control class by using t-test was t0,99 = 2,39. Briefly, the value of
t0 was more higher than tt 1,672,39. It showed that there was a significant result in
experiment class. The second hyphotheses was the difficulty which faced by every
student when they were arranging negotiation text had been proved. It was based on
questionnaire which showed that 97 percent of students faced the difficulty when they
were arranging declarative sentences. After that, 90 percent of students still face the
difficulty when they were arranging persuasive sentences, also 9 percent of students
faced the difficulty when they were arranging bargainer sentences on negotiation text.
All in all, the use of scramble model can improve students’ writing skill on
negotiation text.
