The Use Of Think Talk Write (TTW) On Students Ability To Write A Recount Text
The aim of the research is to know The Use of Think Talk Write on Students’
Ability to Write a Recount Text. The approach in this research is quantitative and
the writer applied pre-experimental method and choosed one group pre-test and
post-test design. The research was conducted to the second grade of SMPN 18
Bogor. There were 32 students from class A taken as the sample. The data were
taken from the pre-test and post-test and were analyzed by using t-test formula.
According to the data calculation, she found the result of t-test value is 6,93. While
t-table value is 2,039 at the significant level of 0.05 with the degree of freedom (df)
of 31. It shows that the t-test value is higher than t-table value (6,93>2,039). It
means the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted. Therefore, The Use of Think
Talk Write (TTW) affects Students’ Ability to Write a Recount Text.
