The use story face strategy and story pyramid strategy on students' reading comprehension
Reading takes the important rule because reading is one of the activities that
cannot be separated from our life to search for some infomation and knowledge
from the text. The most important in reading is comprehension, which means
that reading comprehension will enrich students’ knowledge. The aim of this
research is to know whether there is a different effect of the use of story face
strategy and story pyramid strategy on students’ reading comprehension. This
research used a quasi-experimental design with a quantitative approach. The
samples of this research were students senior high school. They are divided into
the experimental class and control class then were given pre-test and post-test in
reading text in multiple choice form. Story face strategy was used in
experimental class and story pyramid strategy was used in control class. The
research found that there was a difference in the effect of using story face
strategy and use story pyramid strategy. It is that the face story strategy and story
pyramid strategy students’ reading comprehension have a significant effect on
students' reading comprehension. Therefore, The findings showed that there was
different post-test the use story face strategy were of the experimental class and
control class.
