Students Perceptions Towards The Use Of Baamboozle In Their Speaking Skill

As English language learners, speaking becomes one of the most important skills
that they need to develop because it is the ability to interact with other people. To
master English speaking skill, students should practice to speak in English.
Therefore, Baamboozle is a tool to assist the students in learning speaking. This
research aims to investigate students’ perceptions towards the use of Baamboozle
in their speaking skill. This research is conducted at English online course, Expert
Language Center, based in Jakarta. The participants in this research are students in
the seventh grade to the ninth grade who use Baamboozle in speaking class. The
writer used qualitative methods and descriptive analysis in conducting this research.
To gain the research data, she used two research instruments: questionnaire and
interview. The study reveals that Baamboozle motivates and helps the students to
improve in learning speaking. It makes them feel more confident to speak as they
enhance their vocabulary, and improve their cognitive and affective outcome as
well.
