The Analysis of student Behaviours in the Post-pandemic Period

Students’ behaviour is the way students’ reaction to their environment. Behaviour
is a form of communication of students that needs to be understood by the teacher.
Understanding students’ behaviour is more challenging than teaching them
because every student has different characteristics. The students’ characteristics
affect their learning habits. It is the role of the teacher to understand what the
students feel, and need, whether it is in online, offline, or hybrid learning
activities. This research aimed to analyse student behaviours in the post-pandemic
period. The participant of this research were fifth-semester students of the English
Education Study Program. The researcher used qualitative research with a
descriptive method to describe students’ behaviour. He used observation,
questionnaire, and interview. Based on the data, they were actively participating
in the classroom activities even though they had to be forced to speak up. They
are confident in making a good impression to their peers, and all students seem
interest and enjoy all the tasks that the lecturer have given, they also did all the
tasks from the lecturer with effort.
