An Analysis study On Students' difficulties In using Preposition Of Time ( A case study conducted to the eighth grade students of SMP Negri 1 Cibungbulang Bogor )

This final project entitled: “An Analysis Study on Students’ Difficulties
in Using Preposition of Times” is written to analyze the students’ difficulties in
using preposition of time by the students of the eighth grade of SMPN 1
Cibungbulang, Bogor. Purposive sampling is used as the technique. The student
who got the low score were analyzed. In conducting the research descriptive method
is used. First of all, the students’ tasks are given. After that, the student who got low
score were interviewed. The result of the research shows that some students did not
put preposition of the time in the right position, mistakes is making sentences using
preposition of the time and they were lack of grammar. The percentage of the
students’ difficulties in using preposition of time is 51,9 %. In relation of the result,
it is suggested that the students should motivate themselves to develop their
knowledge especially in using preposition of time, and they should find other
sources as reference for better understanding preposition of time. The teacher
should explain the material clearly and motivated the students.
