The lecturrer have the main role in giving a teaching materials to the students. It is important that teacher implemented a scholarly journal as a teaching materials in the classroom. This resesarch aimed to find out how the lucturer implemented a scholarly journal in the classroom obsevation, interviews and documentatiton. classroom observation was conducted in three times. interview and documentation. classroomobsevation was conducted in three times. Interview was conducted one for english lecturer. According to the data analysis, it was founds that the lucturer had implemented a scholarly journal in the classroom with steps. The steps were provides reading guide, priview the reading in the class and explain the relevant purpose, the lecturer encourage the students understanding the context, the culture asks the students to read two or three aticles thatwritten by the same author. it is suported by three instuments. there was classroom observation, interview, and documentatiton. however, the implementation of a scholarly journal in the academic writing is not totally applied. The Lucturer did not Explained the information about the framework of journal in detail. therefore, she did not asked the students to identified more because there are not special time time to discuss about a scholarly journal. In conclusion, The lecturrer have to expaline in detail about the infomation of a scholarly journal. it is aimed to enhanced he students knowledge in writing a research paper.
