Students' difficulties in revising their background of the study ( A research conducted to the seventh semester students of english language education study program of pakuan universuty)

Writing is a process of thingking, and written product is a result of writing. Students in english language education study prgram pakuan university still have some difficulties in revising their "background of the study". This paper entitled "students' difficulties in revising their background of the study" is aimed to investigates sutendts' difficulties in revising their baclground of the study. This research was conducted to the seventhsemester students who writing the research paper revision in english language education stufy program pakuan university. In conducting this research, the writer use puposive sampling and take seven students from each their supervisors. Descriptive method was used to desribe the diffculties faced bye the students' difficulties in revising their "background of the study". The main data are gained bye analyzing the students' work, queationnaire, and interview. After analyzing the data, the writer concludes that the difficulties faced by the stufents are understanding symbols given by their supervisor, revising their grammtical mistakes, revising their sentence structure, comprehending their text and putting right ideas related to the research topic
