Role Play Technique For Speaking Activities

Role Play activity is one the classroom teaching techniques that encourages students to participate actively in the process of learning English. The aim of this research to find out how roleplayis implemented for speaking activities. The qulitative reserach whit classroom observation and interviews to gain the data that were required to know about how roleplay is implemented for speaking activies. During practice, provoding examples of expressions and intonation, and vocabularry. Therefore according to the result of both observation and interview, it is concluded that the teacher has implemented roleplay consisting of done the preparation strateggies and implementation of roleplay consisting of done the preaparation, strategies and implementation of roleplay and teacher provide direct feedback to students verbally
